Open image: 7_4.
We will give perspective to the tree, (having the light shine from the left) by adding successive layers of different colors.
These new layers will be inserted into the principal Vector layer: tree.
Select Pan tool.
Zoom into 120% for working well. Widen the Frame.
You can increase the Frame according to your need!
Here : I reduce the frame.
To test: Under Window select each one of these configurations: FIT to image, FIT to Window, FIT to screen and return to zoom 120%.

There is one image open in PSP.
It is named: 7_4 , Zoom 120% on layer : tree.
We have seven layers. Six Raster Layers and 1 Vector layer.
Click on + of Layer : tree.
Double click on : New Path/New Shape
Name this layer : 1
We can still change the color. OK
Select: PEN Tool.
The nodes appear and we can modify them.
Once finished:
For all the versions: Right click on layer 1.
Choose: Select None.
With PSP X: Apply
There are no more nodes.
In background, choose a paler color to lighten the tree!
With PEN Tool: Draw Point to Point. Usual configurations.
Draw a form without closing it and choose: Start new contour.
Remake a new contour at the places where tree is lit by sun.
Here, still, we can modify .
Once finished:
Double click on the layer New Path/New Shape .
Name the layer: 2
All versions: right click on layer 2 : Select none.
With PSP X: Apply
Start again and make other pale areas, while applying each time: Start new contour.
Name the layer: 3
All version: a right click on the layer: Select none.
With PSP X: Apply
Start again and add dark areas.
Name the layer: 4
All versions: a right click on layer: Select none.
With PSP X: Apply
A new principal layer is always placed at the top of the layers. It is sometimes imperative to move the layers.
We can move them as needed.
Here: I slide layer 4 under layer 2.
By selecting each layer, we find their nodes. All modifiable!
A right click on layer “tree“: Convert to Raster Layer.
We have now: Seven Raster Layers.
Save image : 7_4
Window > Duplicate.
Close image : 7_4
