We are on image 7_7.
Select Pan Tool.
Under View: Remove the grid.
Zoom in for a better view.
Widen the frame.
We have eight layers:
home, tree, island, h1, sea, sun, sky, raster 1.
Close the layers: home, tree and island.
Select layer : sea.
Open a new vector layer. Name it : s (shadow). OK
Close foreground.
Open background. Choose average blue.
With PEN Tool, Draw Free hand.
Draw the shade of a mountain on water.
Start under the mountain and close contour.
Apply or Select none.

Apply (for PSPX,X1)
or
Select none
(PSP8 and all version)
In vedeo, I use Apply.

Start again for the other mountain.
Apply or Select none.
Change the color of the foreground to a darker color and remake
contour close to the mountains.
When finished : convert the layer : s to raster layer.
Select the layer h1.
Merge down with layer : s
Merge down : s with layer : sea.
With tool: Lighten/darken.
Here are my Configurations. But, you can personalize yours.
Shape: round, Size: 30, Hardness: 70, Step 10, Density: 100
Thickness: 100, Rotation: 0, Opacity: 70.
With the cursor, left click, fade the mountain color on the sunny side.
Pass again to accentuate the effect.
With the cursor right click, darken the mountains which are in
the shade.
Pass again to accentuate the effect.
We must, according to the case to decrease or increase
the size
and opacity.
Fade the sunny sea and darken the shadowed areas.
Modify the configurations, according to your needs.
Open all the layers.
We here will project the shade of the tree and the house.
Select the layer : island.
Open a new vector layer and name it s. OK
Closed foreground.
Background: choose a color darker than the island.
With PEN Tool, Draw Point to Point. Usual configuration.
Draw the shade of the tree and the house.
Convert the layer s to raster layer.
Merge, Merge down.
Here, with tool: Lighten/darken, I adjust each layer
by changing
the configurations size and opacity with the need.
When finished
Select Pan Tool.
Save image.
Window Duplicate.
Close the image: 7_7
We finished our image.
We could add other elements, but, some vector awaits us
in lessons 8.
We are going, however, to test on our image 7-8 interesting filters
of PSP and add our signature.
