Landscape : Basic Vector

Open your principal folder.

Open a new Folder. Name it : 7home

Open another Folder and name it: a_font.

You will find a great choice of Fonts, to download here: http://www.urbanfonts.com/

Choose the font you like and save the zip file in the Folder a_font.

This choice is important, because you will use it for your signature.

Open Paint Shop Pro

Open a new image : 400 by 400 Pixels.
Raster Background, Transparency. OK

Add a new Raster Layer, name it: sky. OK
In foreground, choose in the basic colors, a blue for your sky. OK
With Flood Fill: fill the layer.

Under View, choose: Change Grid, Guide Properties.
In Current image setting. Position, Type: H : 50, V : 50 Pixels.
Color: pink. OK OK.

Under View, Select Grid.
Center the image, to widen the frames.
Save image in Folder : 7home. Name it : 7_1

Open a new Vector Layer and name it: sun. OK

With tool Ellipse, Mode: Draw Circle .
Show Nodes, Create One Vector and Anti-alias: Checked.

In Materials: Close foreground.
In Background : choose a basic yellow. OK

Draw a sun filling 4 squares. We have in vectors 4 nodes.
If you do not like this yellow, change the color background.
Right click on the layer: sun. Convert to Raster Layer.

With Move tool: move the sun, high left.

Open a new Vector layer and name it: sea. OK

A click in background: Choose: Gradient. Select: Edit.
In the window Gradient Editor. Select : New.
Name the gradient: 7sea. OK

Note: the gradient name is in the Types.
Select the first Markers : Choose a pale blue.
Select the second Markers : Choose a dark blue.
Closed. Do you want to save the changes? Yes

In the window Material Properties :
Style: Linear   Repeats 0   Angle: 180. OK

With tool: Rectangle and these configurations. Mode: Draw rectangle.
Show Nodes, Create One Vector and Antialias: Checked
Draw (close to the horizon) a rectangle, by exceeding the edges of image.
Right click on the layer: sea. Convert to Raster Layer.

Open a new Vector Layer and name it : h1 OK
Click in the background to find Gradient. Choose : Edit.
Choose : New . Name the gradient: 7hill. OK

Select the first Marker : Choose a pale green.
Select the second Marker : Choose a dark green.
Close. Do you want to save the changes? Yes

In Material Properties : Angle 200. OK

With PEN Tool, Choose : Draw Point to Point - Bezier Curves.
Connect Segments, Create on Vector, Nodes Show: Checked.
Antialias: Checked

Draw a hill on the left.
Click and release, click and release…. creating nodes as you go and
(Close selected open contours) by clicking on this icon.

Right click on the layer: h1. Convert to Raster Layer.

Open a new Vector Layer and name it: h2. OK
Click in background color. Change the Angle : 120. OK

Point-to-point, make a hill on the right side and (Close selected open contours.) Right click on the layer: h2. Convert to Raster Layer.

Open a new Vector Layer and name it: h3. OK
Click in background. Choose: gradient.
Choose : Edit.  Slip the dark marker in the center of the bar.
Closed, Yes. OK.

Draw a smaller hill and Close selected open contours.

Right click on layer: h3. Convert to Raster Layer.

Right click on layer h3. Merge, Merge down.
Right click on layer h2. Merge, Merge down.
We have: five layers.

Save image : 7_1

Under Window : Duplicate.

Close image 7_1.
